After I had driven up Rt 1 to Fredericksvurg I turned around and drove up Rt 301 towards Ashland Courthouse. I met the caravan right at the courthouse. I'm not sure why but they caught me totally by suprise. After I whipped the car around and demonstrated the proper contrition to the sheriff's deputy who going to give me a ticket. I got ahead of the riders about a mile south of the courthouse. I was looking for a place to pull over and fortunately they were setting up a water stop.
